Bloor Borden Farmers' Market
Congratulations to the community and business associations of Harbord Village, the Annex and Huron Sussex for the launch this spring of the BLOOR BORDEN FARMERS' MARKET. The Grand Opening on June 25 was a delightfully festive event, with eco-sensitive neighbours flocking from every direction — bringing their own bags with them, as requested.

The celebration was attended by all our local politicians
and featured a strawberry festival with strawberry shortcake for everyone. I volunteered to take photos, and you can see the results here.
This is a Certified Farmers' Market featuring real farmers selling only what they produce locally. Each week enjoy fresh, local fruits and vegetables,
eggs, cheese, honey, meats, baked goods, free draws and lots more. All the farmers' stands are under canopies, but bring your hat anyway!

This wonderful market is brought to us through the collaboration of volunteers belonging to the Annex Residents' Association, the Harbord Village Residents' Association, and the Huron Sussex Residents' Association, and with the support of the local business improvement associations: Bloor Annex B.I.A. & the Harbord Street B.I.A.
